Silvercrest is a 75 year young church, that is proud of its heritage, holds fast to the old songs of the faith, utilizes only the King James Bible, and reaches out to the community with the truth of the Gospel as well as assistance to the needy, through its "Free Thrift Shop".

Our preaching is always Bible based, bringing the truth of God's Word, to a lost and confused world, without apology. We embrace the old hymns of the faith without incorporating the new sounds and beats of today. You will know you have been to church after your first visit to Silvercrest.

At 10:00 AM every Sunday morning we have Sunday School classes for all ages. Our Head Deacon, Sam Bayne, has been the adult Sunday School teacher at Silvercrest for 25 years and brings the Bible to life as he teaches, verse by verse, through the Books of the Bible. To sit in our Sunday School is like attending a Bible Institute or Bible College.

There are classes for all ages as well as a clean, safe and happy nursery available for our pre-school children.

We have youth programs at both Sunday morning services as well as our Wednesday night Bible Study.  Utilizing puppets, felt, chalk art drawing during the teaching, lively songs and games along with understandable object lessons, brings the teaching alive for every young person in attendance.

This is our unique and unprecedented concept of helping our community with their material needs while at the same time assuring that they receive the "spiritual" food they need as well. We have a barn that is filled to capacity with donated items that anyone can "shop" at with no money changing hands. Each time a person attends a service at Silvercrest they earn "Silvercrest Dollars" which can be spent in the "Free Thrift Shop".

Our "Free Thrift Shop" is open twice a month, immediately following the Sunday Morning Service. You must be in attendance on Sunday morning to shop that day. Come and visit with us and see what a great blessing this can be to you.
